A press conference was held in Milan to present the new edition of Pharmintech powered by Ipack Ima, scheduled from May 27-30, 2025 at Fiera Milano – Rho, in conjunction with IPACK-IMA
The event, focused on process and packaging technologies and solutions for the life science industries, will be held concurrently with IPACK-IMA, in order to realize a supply chain project that touches all components of the value chain serving the pharmaceutical, para-pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, nutritional, biotechnology, cleanroom and medical devices worlds: from technology, to digitalization paths, from the study of new materials to sustainability, without forgetting the regulatory and certification dimension, which is fundamental for the pharmaceutical market.
A market in constant development
According to the study center MECS, responsible for the Pharmintech Monitor, the aggregate global pharmaceutical market value of packaging, processing and materials will reach 158.9 billion euros in 2027. Looking at the CAGR over the period 2023/2027, in fact processing is expected to grow by +7.8 percent, packaging by +2.8 percent and materials by +6.4 percent for values of €19.2 billion, €7.6 billion and €132.1 billion, respectively. A market that shows no signs of slowing down and that, thanks to R&D and the development of new biopharmaceutical technologies, shows constant vocation for growth on a global scale.

Innovazione e futuro del Life Science a Pharmintech
Si è svolta a Milano la conferenza stampa di presentazione della nuova edizione Pharmintech powered by Ipack Ima, in programma dal 27 al 30 maggio 2025 a Fiera Milano – Rho, in concomitanza con IPACK-IMA
La manifestazione, focalizzata sulle tecnologie e soluzioni di processo e imballaggio per le industrie life science, si terrà in contemporanea con IPACK-IMA, per realizzare un progetto di filiera che tocchi tutte le componenti della catena del valore al servizio del mondo farmaceutico, parafarmaceutico, cosmeceutico, nutrizionale, delle biotecnologie, delle camere bianche e medical devices: dalla tecnologia, ai percorsi di digitalizzazione, dallo studio di nuovi materiali alla sostenibilità, senza dimenticare la dimensione regolatoria e delle certificazioni, fondamentale per il mercato farmaceutico.
Un mercato in costante sviluppo
Secondo il centro studi MECS, responsabile del Pharmintech Monitor, il valore aggregato globale del mercato farmaceutico di packaging, processing e materiali raggiungerà nel 2027 i 158,9 miliardi di euro. Guardando al CAGR nel periodo 2023/2027, infatti il processing è atteso in crescita del +7,8%, il packaging del +2,8% e i materiali del +6,4% per valori rispettivamente pari a 19,2 mld €, 7,6 mld € e 132,1 miliardi di euro. Un mercato che non accenna a rallentare e che grazie all’R&D e allo sviluppo di nuove tecnologie biofarmaceutiche mostra costante vocazione alla crescita su scala globale.
